Form White to tan crystals with a mild odour.
Melting point 138.6℃ (A), 147.1℃ (B), 118 ℃ (eutectic of A and B. Density 1.16 (20℃).
Solubility In water 2.7 (A), 1.1 (B), 3.8 (eutectic) (all in mg/l, 20℃, not affected by pH). In dichloromethane >250, isopropanol 67, xylene 18, n-octanol 53 (all for sum of A and B, in g/l, 20℃).

Oral Acute oral LD50 for rats >5000, mice c. 4300, dogs >5000 mg/kg.
Skin and eye Acute percutaneous LD50 for rats >5000 mg/kg.
Slightly irritating to skin and eyes (rabbits). Not a skin sensitiser.
Inhalation LC50 (4 h) for rats >0.55 mg/l air (aerosol), >1.2 mg/l air (dust).

Control of scab and Monilinia diseases on fruit; rusts and powdery mildews on ornamentals; black spot on roses; Sigatoka on bananas; and leaf spot and other diseases of vegetables, cucurbits, cereals, deciduous fruit, peanuts, soya beans, tea, etc. As a seed dressing, control of smuts and bunts of wheat and rye; in combination with other fungicides, also against seed-borne snow mould.
